The author is free-lancing journalist in Patna. He is also a literary figure. He has been journalist at The Times of India in New Delhi from 1978 to 1979, at The Searchlight in Patna from 1980 to 1986 and at The Hindustan Times from 1986 to 2013 in different parts of Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. He reported for the paper from Purina in Seemanchal area for three years beginning 1994, from Darbhanga in Mithila region onwards about various walks of life till 2004 and in Patna from 2005 to 2012 tracking civic amenities beat and in Raipur in Chhattisgarh from 2012 to 2013 where he called his day at the HT. Since then he has been freelancing in vernacular periodicals with brief stint in a few publications. He began with free-lancing to English magazines in ‘80s.For him, life has taken a full circle as free-lancer. He has seen life from very close that has appeared through his writings. Born in village Enkhaoun in Dulhin Bazar in Bihta in Patna district on May 9, 1955 he has been explorer of life. In fact, his voyage has been search within. The contemporary events find expression in his writings. He explores, innovates and creates a new world of his own. A solitary pied piper, he dares, fears, is pained but still marches ahead. It would not be a balanced personality had the author not taken a literary form. He writes poems, satires and short stories in Hindi magazines and on literary pages of the newspapers. His literature mirrors life as it is and in this way tries to mould it. He would soon publish his literary works.
