Dr. N. Dhanya, (M. Sc, M. Phil, Ph.D (Human Development), M.A, M. Phil (Hindi), MBA Education Management) is currently employed as an Assistant Professor in Child Development in the Department of Home Science of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She has been in the field of teaching and research for the past 12 years. She has undertaken and completed minor projects under UGC and other agencies. Her understanding of the plight of families having children with communication disorders and the ability to empathize with them instilled in her the urge to come out with this book. This book would help mothers identify the children with communication difficulties and also provide them with strategies and methods which anybody can follow to develop the communication skills to the maximum. Aathira Harikrishnan was creatively inclined from a very young age and wanted to take up designing and fine arts as her career but fate intervened and she got selected for Child Development during her PG admissions. Her natural love for children and ability to interact with them selflessly made her focus on the intricacies of the young mind. She passed her PG from St Teresa’s college securing the first rank. She is the great granddaughter of renowned Malayalam novelist and playwright, C.V. Raman Pillai, belonging to the artistically inclined Rosscote family.
